We organize jeep safari through the National Park "Durmitor" and through the canyon of Tara. We offer several variants of a jeep safari tour of the most beautiful areas of the Durmitor National Park.
Durmitor Ring
Departing from Zabljak over the mountain pass Veliki Štuoc with standing on two viewpoints for panoramic sightseeing and photographing Zabljak and Tara canyon. Continue to the village of Mala Crna Gora, stopping on the viewpoint in the canyon of river Sušica for sightseeing and photographing the canyon, then following the trail to the canyon's peek. Canyon of river Susica is one of the most colorful and most beautiful canyons in the Durmitor National Park.
Safari continue along the north side of the canyon, stopping at the top of the lookout for photo viewing and vivid nature. After a short break, we continue the journey through the village Nedajno to Trsa where it is possible to organize a national lunch. Here we make rest for half an hour.
Safari continue over mountain ranges of Mount Durmitor with en route stops at several places for photographing and viewing the mountain ranges and lakes. The duration of this jeep tours of the three and a half to five hours, depending on time spent for photographing and viewing nature as well as the break for lunch.
The length of this jeep tours is 80 km. The popular name of this tour "Durmitor Ring" comes from the fact that we make a complete circle around the entire massif of Durmitor mountain.
Tara Canyon Viewpoints
This is a off road safari to the three most beautiful lookout point in the Tara Canyon.
Two lookout are unpopular and unknown to common tourists, since they are off the beaten paths of Tara Canyon and dense forest through the rugged landscapes, where only a Jeep can be reached. These are vantage points levels and Clear . After these lookouts, safari continues to the viewpoint Veliki Štuoc where you can see Zabljak with the environment and is ideal for sightseeing and photography.
After the lookout safari continues through the ecovillage Bosača - a village located at 1,600 meters above sea level and is the tallest inhabited island in the Balkans. Jeep tour further takes us to one of the most beautiful lakes - Zminje lake located in the center of the Durmitor National Park, at the foot of a high mountain peaks. Lake surrounding is covered with conifer forests.
Duration of safari is two and a half to three hours depending on the time spent on the lookout for photo shoots and sightseeing.
